Because the left is losing it’s mind over the fact that the majority of Americans and California don’t want the tradition of marriage trampled on through Proposition 8, the nutroots begin a race baiting campaign to smear the long standing holiday tradition of displaying a lighted cross as something akin to “cross burning”.
Once again the left shows their thick dishonesty and belief that their flock is as dumb as a box of rocks playing as if they have never seen a lighted cross displayed during the Christmas season.
Firedoglake » Keeping the Holidays Classy
Dear American Family Association, would it kill you to think things through just a little bit?
Let Your “Light” Shine For Christ This Christmas Season!
Looking for an effective way to express your Christian faith this Christmas season to honor our Lord Jesus? Now you can…. with the “Original Christmas Cross” yard decoration.
Yes, an image of a burning cross in the front yard — A White Christmas indeed.
Typical nutroots, can’t win on the issue so just attack Christianity as a faith of the pig ignorant and wrapping it up in a package of race baiting. Yup that’s just what’s needed a bunch baby killing, marriage mocking lunatics critiquing and distorting the displaying of the cross during the holidays and attempting to turn it into a symbol of hatred.
Expect to see more of this comparison.

Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo is a race baiting coward who can not offer one example of why Obama is a patriot, just like the rest of the race baiting left who play the race card anytime Barack Obama’s associations or far left socialist beliefs are questioned.
Talking Points Memo | Joe the Skinhead
Josh Marshall
The intellectually vacant Josh Marshall at TPM calls Joe The Plumber a “skinhead”, Marshall throws the hateful, race baiting smear after watching this clip of Joe talking to Neil Cavuto on Fox:
Barack Obama’s views are far from “patriotic” that is a fact and the only one who seems to be taking into account the color of Barack Obama’s skin is the race baiting Josh Marshall.

Barack Obama is scared, he’s dropped 4 points in the polls and now only leads McCain by one point.
So what does Barack Obama do? Pull out the race card and starts some race baiting.
The Page - by Mark Halperin - TIME
Campaign Manager Rick Davis pounds the Democrat in a one-sentence statement:
“Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong.”
Reference to Obama’s comments in Missouri Wednesday that Republicans are trying to make voters “scared” of him by noting “he doesn’t look like all those other presidents on those dollar bills.”
Jonathan Martin’s Blog: McCain campaign chief: Obama ‘played the race card’ - Politico.com
“Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck,” said Rick Davis, in a statement issued from the McCain campaign. “It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong.”
Yesterday in Missouri, Obama predicted McCain and the GOP would use racially tinged attacks against him.
“What they’re going to try to do is make you scared of me,” Obama said. “You know, he doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”
Political Punch
Obama continued: “And so the only way they figure they’re going to win this election is if they make you scared of me. So what they’re saying is, ‘Well, we know we’re not very good but you can’t risk electing Obama. You know, he’s new, he’s… doesn’t look like the other presidents on the currency, you know, he’s got a, he’s got a funny name.’

On Hannity & Colmes tonight Bill Richardson said John Edwards endorsing Barack Obama is beneficial because it attracts the “White Working Class Voters” to Barack Obama.
I wonder if Richardson’s “racist” comment will get as much attention as Hillary Clinton expressing the very same sentiment about herself.
Here is just a sample of what the Obama loving main stream media had to say about a similar comment made by Hillary Clinton:
Clinton’s Racial Arson: Reactions
Clinton cited an Associated Press article “that found how Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.
James Zogby: Hillary Clinton Should Address Race, Now - The Huffington Post
I say it is past time because, in recent weeks, we have seen troubling signs of a racial divide within the Democratic coalition, some of which has been fueled, whether intentionally or not, by the Clinton campaign and its surrogates.

What a complete pile of crap TPM pushes together trying to make the assertion that there can be NO SUCH THING as a Black voter voting on the basis of race, only White people are capable of such a thing.
TPMCafe | Talking Points Memo | The Myth Of The Black Racist Voter
One very foolish meme that’s made it’s way into the primary is this notion that black people voting for Barack in large margins is the equivalent (or on the scale of racism, arguably worse) of white people breaking for Hillary in similar margins. I doubt that anyone who reads this blog thinks like that, and truthfully, I haven’t seen it in any of the blogs I read. It’s one of those notions that you hear from beefheads like Joe Scarborough or in the Huffington Post comment section. I know, I know, those sources are roughly equal in credibility, but I just want to venture a quick response.
See as long as its justified race or racism does not apply.

From Radio Equaizer
The Radio Equalizer: Brian Maloney: Air America Loses NYC Slots, Sharpton, Schultz Gain
In the biggest upset for the “progressive” talk radio network, longtime New York personality Lionel’s timeslot on flagship WWRL-AM was turned into lion-$ell, a new bloc of gutter- level infomercials. Also out in the reshuffling is sadly boring Al Franken replacement Thom Hartmann.
I forgot Air America was still around.
Bad news is that this news will give the left even more reason to cry foul and push The Fairness Doctrine!

You know the leftist nutroots are getting fearful about their chances of Obama or Clinton (mostly Obama) being elected in 2008.
Just check out the latest racist race baiting insult filled sludge that Jane “Blackface” Hamsher has dumped on the shore of Firedoglake.
We’re at the McCain Town Hall event in Alexandria. It’s at Episcopal High School and the bleachers behind the podium are stocked with sparkling white, youthful Republican faces. I’m here with Matt Stoller and he says they all look like the kids of trophy wives who decided not to go to Choate.
I wonder how many high schools McCain is visiting? In the Republican era where Backdrops Are Everything, it was obviously a choice to parachute McCain into the middle of an abstinence-only club.
Oh and don’t put it past angry hacks like Hamsher to attack the “shiny white” kids who are nothing more than the byproduct of men marrying “Trophy Wives”.
